Buy Aloe Vera Juice Online

Buy Aloe Vera Juice Online

These days far more of my customers buy aloe vera juice online from my shop than other ways. The internet has made everything so simple hasn't it? No need to wait in for me to deliver it, no need to get the car out to come and pick it up - time and money are saved by just making a few clicks on the web!

If you are buying aloe online here are a few pointers to look for;

Is the product you are buying on a secure site?

Is it covered by a money-back guarantee? One of the downsides of buying online is that you don't get to see the product itself before you buy, so you want to make sure you are covered if you are disappointed in any way.

Does the aloe vera juice have the aloe science council seal of approval?

How much actual aloe content does the juice have? Many will say '100% aloe vera juice' on the tub. However there can be as little as 15% actual aloe vera in there if it is called a juice. An aloe drink is only allowed to be called 'aloe gel' if it has more than 90% actual aloe content.

So, don't be mis-led into thinking that a bottle of aloe vera juice for a low price is a bargain - compare the actual amount of aloe you are getting for your money with each brand.

Make sure the drink is stabilized, else you may be consuming a product that has not been kept fresh and potent.

Aloe History

Aloe History.
Did you know... Aloe vera has been used since Ancient Egyptian times. Cleopatra attributed her beauty (in part) to aloe vera. Alexander the Great had wagons full of aloe plants towed into battle so the wounds of his soldiers could be treated with the aloe gel!

In more recent history Gandhi drank aloe when he was fasting.

Aloe has long been known as the burns plant - it's used on burns from accidents and also on sunburn. If you have ever holidayed in the Caribbean you may have seen locals carrying aloe leaves along the beaches to apply to sun-burnt holiday makers!

It's relatively new to the Western world simply because it's only recently (around 30 years ago) that a natural way was found to keep the aloe vera fresh and potent.

Aloe Uses

Aloe Uses

Because aloe works in 2 big areas - the skin (inside and outside) and the immune system, aloe uses are MANY!

I thought it would be useful if I share the ways I use aloe as I have used it for a long time! You'll see what an 'aloe addict' I am!

1. I use it on my lips in lipsalve form.
2. I drink it.
3. I wash my face with it - in aloe soap form.
4. I tone my  face using an aloe liquid called Aloe Activator.
5. I use an aloe serum and aloe lotions and creams on my face, and aloe lotion on my bod.
6. I will only use aloe vera shampoo on my hair!
7. I wash my clothes in an aloe 'green' detergent.
8. I use aloe gelly on cuts, bites, burns etc

Crikey, that all sounds a bit mad when I look at the list! The thing is though, I just LIKE the effect aloe has more than anything else! Those are my aloe uses - I'd love to hear yours!

Benefits Of Aloe - In Depth

I showed you the top 10 benefits of Aloe in my last post, and I thought it would be useful if I went into more detail in these posts, so here we go; (These were originally written by Dr Peter Atherton).

1. A general tonic for good health.

By drinking the Aloe Vera Gel with all its important ingredients (often now deficient in food) including 19 of the 20 amino acids needed by the human body and seven of the eight essential ones that just cannot be made, the body is able to get enough to allow complex enzyme systems to work really well.

This means the body can function at 100%.

The net result is a wonderful feeling of well being.

2. A useful source of vitamins

Aloe Vera Gel contains a large range of vitamins - even trace elements of vitamin B12 which is rarely found in plants.

Apart from Vitamin A, it contains B-group vitamins, vitamin C, vitamin E and folic acid.

Many of these vitamins cannot be stored by the body so we need to constantly top them up from the food that we eat.

What better way than by drinking a daily amount of Aloe Vera Gel while at the same time building up the body's defence system against oxidative stress naturally?

3. Useful source of minerals.

Some of the minerals found in aloevera include calcium, sodium, potassium, iron, chromium, magnesium, manganese, copper and zinc.

This is because the plant tends to grow in areas where soils are rich in these minerals and its roots are able to absorb and deliver them to us in a very available form.

4. Anti-inflammatory and painkilling effect.

Among the substances that have been identified in Aloe Vera are several that are naturally anti-inflammatory and painkilling. People who take it regularly often find that inflammatory conditions are greatly benefited.

5. Antiviral activity.

Within the mucilage layer of the leaf which surrounds the inner gel there is a long chain of sugar or polysaccharide.

This has the capability of being able to help us defend against attacks by various viruses, from the common cold to the more nasty viruses and could even help balance your immune system.

6. Increases the activity of fibroblasts.

Fibroblasts are specialised cells found in the skin. Their job is to produce fibre such as collagen and elastin. These fibres give the skin its structure and of course, make it look plump and elastic.

The more you have, the younger your skin may look.

7. Effect on the skin.

When they are first produced deep in the epidermis, skin cells are rather large and very much alive, but by the time they reach the surface after 21-28 days (in normal skin), they are a shadow of their former selves and are transformed into just thin flakes of keratin which eventually fall off.

Aloe Vera Gel provides the essential nutrition to feed the basal cells. Therefore the skin remains healthy and is able to perform its vital functions more efficiently - as well as looking much better!

8. Effect on gut flora

Aloe Vera is a natural 'balancer' in many areas and nowhere more so than inside the gut, where it tends to regulate the various bacteria and yeasts that inhabit it.

For example, if a person were to suffer with too much yeast in the gut, regular ingestion of the gel would tend to reduce this overgrowth.

The same can be said of the more unfriendly bacteria that can accumulate in certain conditions.

9. Assists in healthy digestion.

A healthy digestive tract ensures that nutrients from the food we eat are absorbed into the bloodstream.

There is clear, clinical evidence that by drinking Aloe Vera Gel the bowel is able to absorb these nutrients more efficiently, especially protein.

10. Effect on the gut.

Aloe Vera has a wonderfully beneficial action on bowel function which results in smooth and efficient transit of contents, often eradicating inconvenient colicky pain.

ALOE GEL AND MY BLOATED TUM!

Aloe Gel for tums.

About 15 years ago I was suffering with the symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome - except that back then it was not really much known about.

I was very stressed from my job at the time and probably not eating very healthily because we had to work through lunch, stay late etc so dinner was often around 10pm. I know lots of people have that type of schedule, maybe you do too?

Anyway, I finally went to the Doctor who prodded my stomach and then said 'well, there's nothing I can do but let's just hope it's nothing serious'... That pretty much scared the **** off me!

Not long after that I was at a Natural Health event and a lady there told me about the drinks she was promoting there. She told me that among other benefits, the contents of the drink cleaned the digestive tract and helped to re-balance the entire area. Well, that sounded like exactly what my tum needed!

It turned out the drink was Aloe Gel by Forever Living and I bought it then and there.

I got home and tried it and in spite of the unusual taste (!) I persevered. After a week I noticed that my jeans could do up without any strain. That's odd, I thought. I was so used to my clothes being too tight (I wasn't actually overweight, just very bloated) that it was a real surprise when they suddenly felt comfy again.

I also then realised that I hadn't been getting any of the cramping pains that I was used to getting. The only thing I had done differently that week was to drink the aloe gel. I was very excited to think that maybe this was what was making the difference and did some research.

I discovered that aloe gel works in 2 areas. The skin and the immune system, healing and balancing these areas. Because we are skin on the inside of our bodies as well as the outside, this made sense of why my Tum was feeling so much better! I've taken the aloe gel drink ever since and am so grateful that I was led to a natural way of helping the IBS.
